Install

Three steps.

  1. Download and check

Download the installer, then compare its SHA-256 with the one on the Verify page.

  2. Run it, and expect a warning

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" or show an unknown publisher. If the hash matched, choose "More info", then "Run anyway". We say this plainly because a signing certificate is a paid yearly cost we have not taken on yet.

  3. Open it

It installs for your own user account and does not need administrator rights. Leet starts with the tracker shield on and HTTPS-only mode on. Updates arrive on their own, verified by a signature, and install when you restart or close the browser. You can switch updates off in Settings.

What is in it

Everyday browser, nothing extra.

Shield card

See what was blocked

Click the shield chip in the address bar to see how many trackers were stopped on this page and each blocked host by name with a count. Only other companies’ requests are blocked; the list stays on your computer.

Shield and gate

Trackers refused locally

Every secure connection passes a checkpoint on your computer that refuses known trackers, including ones hidden behind a first-party name. If the checkpoint is down, https does not load; there is no direct fallback.

HTTPS-only

No silent downgrade

If a site has no secure version you get a clear error page, with a deliberate button to open it over http. QUIC is off so nothing bypasses the checkpoint.

Private tabs

Ctrl+Shift+N

Memory only, shared by private tabs and dropped when the last one closes. Their searches, history and permission answers are not kept.

Vault

Passwords you control

An encrypted vault file sealed with your master password (PBKDF2, 600,000 rounds, then AES-256-GCM). Nothing is filled by itself. Cards have no CVV field.

Leet Music

Music that keeps playing

Plays YouTube's own page in hidden tabs only when you play a song, with ads stripped from the player.

eAccess

Your AIs and daily sites, always one press away

The eAccess button sits first in the top bar. Press it and your AIs, the sites you pinned (WhatsApp, Gmail and so on, each signed in separately), Leet Music, Reading list, Notes and Translate slide into the sidebar. Hover it for “Add new site”, or use “Add to eAccess” in the address bar. Idle tiles sleep to save memory. Nothing is fetched to draw it.

Price drop

Told when a product you chose gets cheaper

On a product page press “Set price drop”, pick the price you want (or any drop) and how long to watch: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. While Leet is open it looks again every few hours and shows a card with how much you save. Works on shops such as Flipkart, Amazon.in, Myntra, Ajio and Nykaa. Only products you choose are kept, on your computer.

Translate

Only when you press it

Type text on the Translate page and press Translate. The answer comes from Google Translate, like any page you open.

Everyday

The things you expect

Bookmarks with import, history you can switch off, downloads that check file types, per-site permissions, text zoom, themes and a calm start page.

Privacy for Windows

What it stores and sends.

Sends. The sites you open, through the local checkpoint; the product pages you chose for a price-drop alert, opened again in a hidden tab while Leet is running (an ordinary visit, nothing else is sent); your search words to the engine you chose; and the signed update notice to GitHub, a few seconds after start and every 6 hours, which carries only your IP address and that a Leet is asking. Nothing goes to the developer. There is no server, account, analytics or crash upload.

Stores on your computer. Bookmarks, settings, per-site permissions, your search-bar search history (for suggestions), an optional list of visited pages for Ctrl+H (default on, switchable, never sent), liked songs, your eAccess sites, Reading list and notes, your encrypted vault, the products you chose for a price-drop alert (address, title and prices, at most 50), and the browser engine's cookies, cache and site storage so you stay signed in. Cookie values are encrypted by Windows for your user account. Private tabs write none of this to disk.

Local phone link (optional). Only while the "Link Leet Assistant" QR code is on screen, the computer listens on one port of its home-network address, for up to 5 minutes, and answers only a message that begins with the code's one-time secret. A matching 6-digit confirmation must be accepted on both screens before anything is stored. It never opens a port to the internet.

Honest limits. Windows' data protection (DPAPI) guards your vault key against other Windows users, but not against malware running as you. Sites you visit still see your IP address. The installer is unsigned and the source is not public. Read the Verify page to check these claims yourself, and the limits list.
